OMP Delete Help

So I've searched for the past 2 days and can't find anything, so don't hate, and just point me in the right direction if there is already a thread for this.

I did a turbo swap to my S5, the engine is also S5. The engine came with an OMP delete, which is fine, I'll just premix. The only thing is now it goes into limp mode (safe mode) after two minutes of being on. Is there an easy way to bypass the safe mode??? I would really like to not have to drop any more cash that I don't even have. So any help or suggestions would be fantastic. The only other options I can think of is sending my ecu to Rtek to get chipped, or buying an OMP and plugging it in and just zip tying it somewhere in the engine bay, so the car thinks its running. Will that even work tho, just plugging it in, but not into the engine? Its just an idea that came to me.

I'm not happy that this is happening, so someone please make my month better by just giving me an easy way out.

Yes it will run find if you have it plugged in but not bolted to the engine. You basically answered your own question. Go Rtek if they can chip it to get rid of omp/limp mode or plug in omp/leave it to the side.

You can get a S5 OMP for dirt cheap in the parts section. As cheap as a tank of gas...
