OMP Crush Washer question
I was provided 10X of the OMP Crush Washers [9956-20-800] in my rebuild kit from Racing Beat and I noticed in the parts diagram that Mazda calls for 2 to be used in the 2 piece oil injector nozzles on the LIM. Can those injectors be disassembled and updated with a new crush washer? The reason that I am asking is because I was putting my primary fuel rails in last night and I noticed that there was some oil weeping from one of the oil injectors. As I was looking to replace it with a new injector, I noticed in the description that the newer style replaced the older 2-piece style which got me down the rabbit hole of looking through the parts fiche. I'd much rather just replace the crush washer and keep going with my rebuild if I can; however, I also have been avoiding the "cheap" route and don't want to assume anything. Thank you for any help that you can provide.

As far as the crush washers, each oil injector takes two. One between the banjo and the LIM, and the other between the banjo and the injector. I just used a generic set of crush washers and haven't had any issues. I'm not sure what you are referring to with the two-piece style. The oil injectors are a bolt with a sealed-in check valve. The banjo fitting is the end of the oil tube that comes from the omp.
When you remove the old oil injectors, clean around the area of the old crush washers, so that there isn't any dirt to prevent good sealing of the new ones. Torque to spec per the FSM.

Apparently this older design has been replaced by a one piece injector, but if I can fix the oil leak by just replacing the crush washer and retightening it then I'd rather go that route.
Thank you for your help and for your comments. I have had no luck looking on here and elsewhere about anything regarding these older 2 piece oil injectors.

Are they copper? If so, you can re-use them by annealing them.
Hold the washer over a propane torch until it's cherry red. Let it cool normally. You'll find that the washer bends easily, and will deform as its job as a crush washer.
