OMP block off plate wouldnt fit....

Heya guys, got an 88 TII 10th AE... I bought the block off plate set from http://www.2751engineering.com/ for the model 88 TII and the plate I recieved for the OMP doesnt fit.. It blocks almost everything but the screw hole is off.. Anyone have this problem as well?

Also, does anyone know of another place to buy this plate, as well as the Subzero start valve plate.

Any other plates on Rotary resurrections 87-88 turbo engine emissions removal that I am missing?

if it was me i would just take that plate to a machine shop have them make one for you. Just make sure you get the right spot for the hole.

or just make one your self. my guess is that it would be alot cheaper. than just send the one you bought back.

Yeah, the problem is I don't have the tools to make one myself, and not sure of any machine shops around here that would waste their time making a plate . I could drill the hole bigger in the plate i have, but I am not sure if that would be a good idea. It might not seal the OMP correctly and leak.

I just bought one of these block off plates for my 88tII off the same website and everything fit just fine. Are you sure your installing it right? Maybe they gave you an s5 or something or maybe just messed that one up. The guy that owns that shop is a member of this site and is very cool. I would just tell him and he will probably fix the problem for you if it is the omp block off plate.

Thanks. Yeah I am sure I am installing it right =P. It can only go one way, and I flipped it several ways trying to line it up. You can tell it is the right plate but the screw holes just dont match no matter what way you flip it.

how far off is it?
If if it's just one hole that's not much off just drill the hole bigger.

You need a hack saw, a file and a drill to make a B/O plate
