Um, Don't drop the motor (I've done it) it can be very hazerdous.

Just start disconecting and labeling everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) get yourself a hoist and you're on rails......................
You might want to brush up on your typing skills also, just to be safe.

If you dont feel like labeling everything.. just label the wires and lines that have to be disconnected and moved so you can put them back in the right place... I was too lazy/ couldnt get the tape to stick b/c my hands were too greasy... but I labeled every thing that didnt stay in its original place... Hope fully when my motor goes back in It will still make sense.

If I haven't done a pull a couple of times, I take pictures of everything I disconnect, with either a digital camera or a disposable.

Of course I also use english when posting so more people can understand me... none of this one letter slang crap words

ive learned when pulling a motor "shadetree" style... to pull the transmission out at the same time... its alot easier to wiggle a tranny around to get it aligned with the motor than it is to wiggle a motor around to align with the splines of the tranny!!! just my .2 cents

Well I just got over being sick this weekend now my car is up in the air. Ive drianed all the fluids and disconnected the driveshaft. My only concern is the wiring. ive have been taking pictures. Im gonna take my time on this so I dont make any mistakes like the guy who owned the car before me. You should have seen it when i go and get the car it smoked alot so I knew it Was probly gonna have to rebuild it. So right when I take the car to leave he gets in the car and revs it up to like 8000rpm. It wasnt even warmed up. Oh my god I was pissed. SO after I get it home i get on here and start posting like a week later it blows up and now im here. Well time to get back to work.

Remember, on hte wiring, most of the plugs will only 'fit' in one place. If you just lay the wiring harness on top and then remove it (later in the process) and lay it gingerly in some place where it won't get messed with.....the plugs will go where they are supposed to be.

Its a bit late since you already removed it but ill throw in my tip for others. Remove or cover your radiator. When i pulled the motor from ym car i dodnt do this and it got all fucked up when we were tryna get it out. We didnt have a hoist though, just 4 guys a pole and some chain :-D
