Is it ok to run a turbo pump on n.a car?
Like the title states, is it safe? I know on a n.a you dont even need to upgrade the pump or injectors unless p-port or ect.
But 2 days ago my fuel pump stopped working after i parked the car at work. Lucky me i at least had a stock turbo fuel pump laying around that i swapped in so i could still get to and from work.
I really want to know how long i can drive like this? I will be getting another n.a pump from a buddy next weekend so will it be ok to DD this for a week with a turbo pump?
Thanks for any input. - Nick

It wont ruin the stock FPR in the long run? I just need to keep running this pump for 1 more week (200 more miles basically) Sounds good though, i havent really felt a bogging so far.
I know you got the answer, just wanted to add my 2 cents. When mine was NA and my pump died I got a Walbro 255 and swapped to an S4 fuel rail, I had already bought an aftermarket FPR so I tapped the S4 rail and put in Barb fittings.
Worked great. Though I had though I had to redo the mounting brackets on the fuel rail because I am an S5.

Should be set at ~30 PSI, idle.
I don't think it's a good idea to run the TII pump in your N/A without a bit of modification. Others may think and/or say otherwise. There is a reason that there are specific pumps for each car. (turbo and N/A.)
