OK this is getting outta hand.

Ok, lately i have been having cooling issues with my car, and i haven't been able to identify the culprit, i put in a Stant thermostat to see if that changed anything, Nope, i got another clutch fan Nope, i replaced the radiator with another one, Nope, and i've bled the system also, i tested for coolant seal, by starting the car while cold w the rad cap off, and the EGI fuses pulled, no coolant shot out, and now i ran the car without the thermostat and it stayed a lil above the quarter mark, but when i got home i could hear coolant bubbling or boiling, and the overfill bottle had a little in there but it eventually went back down the the normal level a few hours later it didn't stay full, could i just have a ton of air in the system?? I'm totally lost i need help i doubt its a coolant seal, its a reman with 10k miles on it the car does smoke a little but it doesn't smell sweet, but my friend who works at the rotary shop says that its unburnt fuel, i have RB turboback, intake, rtek 1.7 and 720cc secondary injectors and walbro pump. HELP, actually i just went back outside to look at the overfill tank and to see if it was full and it was pretty full, i really doubt its a seal but i can't figure it out.

Well there are only so many parts in a cooling system and if you arent cooling with sufficient amout of coolant, make sure there is nothing blocking air from the radiator, double check if you thermostat does open or not (i seen quite a few defective thermostat from stant) make sure your radiator cap holds pressure, your clutch fan better be working, and if you have no leaks, and good heat, i doubt you have air, especially if you have good heat, so.. only thing left is your water pump. check it... or replace it. Just because it is good from your other motor, 10,000 miles ago, doesnt mean it is still good.

waterpump failure is not only due to leaks, internal failure can cause over heating, if the blades are bent it is providing insufficient circulation, if peices are missing same story. if you understand the cooling system, there are only so many parts to it and you have changed out half of it. you got the cap left and the water pump, and ... just go buy a new cap while you are at it to make sure.

If you swapped the pump you obviously got a good look at the internal condition. If it was sitting for 10 years and blades rusted I doubt you would have put that in your car.

I know you got a working fan now.

So you most likely got air still in the system.

How can you not see the blades when you take it off? They are right there in plane sight!

See that's 8th in steel you are not going to bend that without a sledge hammer.

That is a sealed pump system they don't just fail. When they fail the bearings wear out in the pump and water seeps out of them. IE the weep hole.
