oil return line.

to put a s4 t2 front cover on my s5 engine do i only need to replace the oil return line or is there anything else i should know? just from looking at it i think thats all i need.

why would you do this? a t2 s4 on a s5? unless you need more info input. we dont even know what you are talking about.

Correct. But the position of the flanges might be different. The only return is the only different between s4 and s5.

thanks for the input. the reason for doing so is because the cover on the motor which is a s5 t2 has a crack in it and i have a s4 front cover. thats the only reason.

i see... that helps now. anywho... the other difference is the OMP. so, either block it or something. since the S5 runs electric pump and s4 on mechanical pump.
