Question oil presure problem 88 Convertible

My oil pressure has been acting weird

I just had the oil changed and when I take it up to 5+grand the oil pressure sky rockets and yester day I was cursing along the inter state at 75 mph looked down and my oil pressure needle was maxxed out

I pulled off to the side of the road let it drop back down and then took off aging I shut the heater off and it jumped from 20 lb/in squared to about 50 lb/in squared

Any clue?

Yeh, an oil filter that's clogging, or your pressure sender is going (try tapping on it while running to see if any changes occur on the gauge)...It's not Fram, I've been using Frams for 100,000 miles with no problems. Did have to replace the sender though, when it started pegging & dropping to zero depending on which way the wind was blowing
