Oil Pressure question.

Hey i have a question for all you turbo II owners about oil pressure. I just finally received my car ive been waiting for and the guy i bought it from didnt hook up the connection for the oil pressure gauge up right. If some one could show me from the censor to the gauge what needs to be connected I would really appriciate it.

Thanks again in advance.

Is the wire connected to the sender unit? Unit is located on drivers side of the block threaded into the second housing.

look for a single wire dangling below the oil filter, it is a yellow wire with a black stripe, that should plug into a gold bell shaped looking bulb sender unit just below the oil filter.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record...

The Factory Service Manual is available for download in the FAQ. It contains all technical information on the car, including locations of sensors and sending units. It should be the first place you check when you have a question of this nature.

The Haynes manual is also a great quick reference for things like this.
