Oil pressure problem

Ok My problem I'm tryin to sort out now is oil pressure at idle is 30-45 when nder a loud it drops ti 15-30 psi. It bucks like crazy and looses power clutch in it craps and spits. On the freeway it is halfway decent having to stay in 4th gear wasting fuel. It's a monster street port TII engine(S4) stock S5 turbo with stock oil feed lime and a AN-10 oil return line until I get get the rest of the stuff I need to upgrade my turbo. I'm runnin a Microtech MTX-8. The idle jumps up to 2k when warm and trys to stall out. It did a little better when I vented the oil filler neck off of the coal canister. I just routed the middle plate breather line to the coal canister till I can get a oil catch can. When driving I can clutch it and rev it to about 3-4k and it pops like crazy!!! I'll get a video later if what I did didnt fix the problem. I'm still waiting for my Microtech Dongle cause the one I have I was told it may be a LTX-8, cause it can be tuned via laptop software.

A little more elaboration would help matters, but I think I understand enough of it to help a little.

It seems like you may have 2 separate issues. Monster street port... probably your bucking issue. Someone else chime in here that knows more about ported engines, but I think they favor more spark advance. Don't quote me on that, it's enough to get the ball rolling on a discussion at least

The oil pressure issue, that could be a lot of problems. One major common issue is the o-ring behind the front cover getting knocked off during installation. Poor bearing clearances or a clogged strainer could be other possibilities.

No, the return line size has no bearing on oil pressure. It's the supply pressure that you're worried about.

here's what I was talking about:
