Oil pressure low????
ok at 3k rpms I get a reading off the stock guage of 60psi.
When I return to idle it wil drop to 30psi for about 10 seconds, then creep down to 15 psi.
This problem may also be related to my sloppy idle after the car idles for a little bit. Seems as when the oil pressure drops, so does the idle but they may be inversly related?
How hard is it to change the oil pump? Should I? I have haynes and factory manual.

Your pressure is not low enough to worry about unless the low idle pressure you refer to is something that happened fairly quickly. Check the reading against a known accurate mechanical gauge.
Changing the oil pump will likely be of little help. Oil pumps are rarely bad unless they were run with contaminated oil. If your engine has been modified then this pressure is all you are likely to get. Look back a page or three for a similar question. In it I explained how the oil pump and oil chemistry affect oil pressures.
If you find that particular post maybe you will be less worried.
