Water leaking in my car and power steering question
hi, i need help again. it feels like something goes wrong every week. damn. ok, 87 t2, 150,000 miles, original engine and turbo, everything. recently ive been getting a continuous beep in the cabin along with my power steering not working. sometimes the beep will go away, at which time i get my power steering back. i have fluid, its not leaking out. whats going on. today the beep stayed on for 20 minutes all the way to work and no power steering. i just turned the radio real loud to drown out the horrible noise. what could be going on?
Secondly, its raining like crazy in good ol' sacramento, and my car is leaking a lot of water into the passenger side of the car just behind and under the seat. could i have a drain clogged or something, and if so, where is it?
Thanks for any help. I appreciate it as always.

Can't help with the p/s thing except to suggest that it is an electronic problem - if the steering is working properly and reservoir is full it is probably bad connections - with regard to water leak - first try open sunroof and blow high pressure air through the drain holes at each corner - DO NOT USE A COAT HANGER - these drain tubes are soft rubber and the back ones are almost 3' long - a coat hanger can do major damage to the hose or even push it completely off the tit on the sun roof fitting - also check the door seals - they tend to seperate from the frame and leave a void where the water from the roof can run down inside the the seals and leak into the interior.
