oil pressure guage

My oil pressure guage is showing 0 and then when I run it hard it goes up a tad. I think probably its just the guage itself because I've been having differant electrical problems however just to make sure I want to get a mechanical guage to put in my car however I have no idea besides getting the guage what I will need to fit into the stock pressure guage hole (the one below the oil filter). Where can I get the fitting that goes there? THanks

FC3s.org sells an adapter for installing oil gauges.
otherwise, you would need to buy/make an adapter to go from the stock metric threads to the standard NPT threads of aftermarket gauge sending units.

I cleaned the crap out of all my wires last night witch took me two bottles of delicate parts cleaner. I even cleaned the crap out of my oil temp mushroom thing on the bottom of the oil filter (took the yellow and red wire off and hosed it down with cleaner) but my oil pressure guage is still not working? What is going on? THanks.

so how would I put an electric guage in my car? I agree with the hot oil thing that would really suck but I'm not driving the car until I get some sort of guage that tells me the correct oil pressure. Where would I install the electric one as far as in the engine? Thanks.

oh yeah one more thing. If I've been driving it with the guage reading zero, and sometimes a little more, would my car already be toast? I've got the idle working perfect and the car runs great except my turbo doesn't spool past 5psi witch I'm going to get that fixed soon. Anyways my question is would my car have already went kaboom if there was no oil pressure? Thanks.

the electric sensor will fit into that same pedistal from fc3s.org that was mentined in there before

that pedistal has room for 2 sensores so you can run a pressure senser and temp....

Well, of course I don't know, but email Dave Gibson and ask. He's a very nice guy, you know :-)
