oil pressure gauge

i sits at about 30 to 35 psi just got the motor running dont know if thats good or bad i think it may be a bad connection cause the first couple times i started it it wasnt reading anything

around 30 at idle and 60 when your running. thats for a n/a

well its not moveing from 30 to 60 it just stays at 30

grab another gage hook it up. if it reads the same then you have a problem. it can be alot of things tho, from a blockage in the system to inproper clearance between the ecentric shaft and the main bearing.

i think my oil cooler has a little kink in the line the guage cluster was out of another car so im not sure if it worked

but your pressure should move up and down with a kink in the line. it shouldent be hovering at 30 the whole time. once you hit 3k rpm your pressure should be inbetween 60-78 psi

1. its the gauge
2. its the sender unit
3. you have a clog
4. worn or dammaged oil pump gear
5. pressure control valve broke
6. malfunction of ecentric shaft bypass valve

ya mine does the same thing i have an after market one and my stock one never reads right but like they said 30 to 60 is normal mine is a little higher but nothing to worry about and my idle is at about 25 at right around 1000 rpm
