HELP! question about 5th and 6th ports

HELP! question about 5th and 6th ports

i have been having some problems iwith getting my 5th and 6th ports to open. i was just wondering if the actuators could be the problem. when i have the actuators off the sleeves do move freely but once everything is on they never seem to open. please any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the actuators are frozen. Detach them from the actual sleeve and blow into the line that supplies the air to open them and see if they open. I've got a set of s5 actuators for sale if thats what you need.
Edit: just checked your sig and you have an s4. Oh well

On an s4, it's actually pretty hard to open the ports by pushing down on the actuator when it is attached to the car. You need to tell us what year car you have.

it is an 87. i have the racing beat presilencer that has the exhaust backpressure line so i know i am getting air to open them i. does it sound like the actuators are the problem?
