Question Oil pressure 88SE n/a ???

What's normal for oil pressure for 88SE n/a, mine has always been up to 90+ at start since I bought my Rx7. After it warms up it drops down to 30 at idle but goes back up to 90 at about 3,000 rpm. Reading thru some of the posts here in the forum, this doesn't seem to be normal. Any comments-suggestions on what to check would be appreciated. Including "Don't fix it if it ain't broken".
Thanks much ahead of time.

Mine (recently rebuilt, and before the rebuild) runs around 60 at high RPMs (3000+), and 30 at idle.

Most likely your oil pressure regulator (inside the front cover) is either clogged or improperly adjusted. It's a bit of a pain to get at with the engine in the car, but not impossible.

I wouldnt mess with it.. Seems like the pressure is just fine. 30 PSI at idle is excellent. My last TII ran pressures like that, and didnt seem to bother anyting.
