Oil Pressure??
This may be a stupid question, but, when I am running hard what should my oil pressure be? I noticed yesterday that it was all the way up at 110.

Haven't we ALL heard this
That really depends on what you are using to see the oil pressure? Is that the stock gauge? If so than get an aftermarket gauge or a mech. oil pressure tester for about $20.
However, if you are using some aftermarket pressure indication 110 is rather high for a stock 2nd gen. I believe there is a releif valve that lets oil pressure go around 70-80psi.

It is the stock gauge and I just got a 87 non-turbo, noticed when I am really redlining that the pressure reads that high on the stock gauge and I was just wondering if that is OK.

I just went thru a big ol deal with mine, except in the opposite direction - low oil pressure.
I also have an 87 n/a. Anything above 3K on the tac should only read 60-65 psi. There's an oil bypass valve that, when working properly, doesn't let the pressure get higher.
The stock gauge is notorious for being inaccurate. You need to verify your reading with mechanical OP tester first.

sounds like yoou need a better o/p gauge. it should read 60 when cruising and 30 when idling. 10 at idle is low that must be some super thin oil your using. with 20/50 mine was at 30/idle and 60/cruising. when i switched to 15/50 i get 20-25 at idle and still get 60/cruising.

the regulator not bypassing would cause a high reading i would suppose! other than that maybe a clogged oil hose or somethin.
racing beat says all you need is their opr which bypasses at 85. anymore is for racing engines and not recommended for the street. somethin about the engine not being designed for the high pressure.
the 13b REW is another story as that engine comes from the factory with a opr that bypasses at 100 or so. but the oil passages are bigger.
