If you speak of the adapter for the S4 AFM to a K&N or other aftermarket filter, www.k2rd.com. If you speak of something else, sorry.

It's just held on by 4 bolts... If it was any easier, it'd be installed for you..

Ok thanks! But will the intake be on the upper left of the motor or the bottom left?

I dunno why but I want it on the bottom left like most of you guys do.

Sorry for being annoying, but where can I get the K&N cone intake? They only have the stock replacement K&N filter on rx7.com

Thanks!

Higgi,
I'm wondering if that approx 1 inch tube that parrallels the intake on the right (engine side) was a "homemade" mod by you? I was gandering at my stock intake wondering...
a) can I just buy a K&N and some approx 3inch PVC & make my own intake mod (instead of spending $125 on the "kit" I saw on some web site). Then get the stamped headlight.
b) how do I account for that "extra" tube that comes off the stock air filter box if I do that?
It looks like you sent it right around to the front where it would've gotten air from the stock intake, no?

Thanks

Now that I look again, there are actually 2 tubes; a smaller 3/4 looking one thats perpendicular to the new intake. Is that actually taking in air? I didn't notice that off my stock air filter box. And the previously mentioned tube thats more like 1 1/2......

The question was (rambling, am i?) is the little one taking in air?

this is older picture when air pump was still in place, hose in picture is going into air pump (your stock air box has 2 outlets (one to air pump, other one to afm)

is this answering question right ?

Kinda....I guess I'm asking if, when I pull out the stock airfilter & go straight w/K&N, I'll need to accomodate those 2 hoses with some air intake & how you did it. I'm fairly green & not clear on the use of/need for an "air pump" is or where it is in the trail of those 2 hoses. Also, whats "afm"?

If this is beyond the scope of this thread and an annoyingly dumb question, just say so & I'll research this some other way. Thanks :-)
