my oil pressure is below the gauge and every once in a while it will go from negative a million to all the way up and off the charts, and then back down..

i dont know what that means.

 

It means you should clean the connection and maybe replace the sender.

 

Yep, either the connection is bad, or the sender is bad. Or both. The sender is located towards the back of the engine black on the passenger side. Its kinda a short wide cylender sticking out of the block with a wire in the middle.
