oil pressure

what is teh proper oil pressure reading on a 87' rx-7. Another question is what does teh oil pressure realte to. I though rx-7's just mixed teh oil with the gas like a 2 cycle. How does teh oiling system work?

Dude, learn to type!
The oiling system works exactly the same and does exactly the same job as a piston engine: it lubricates the moving bits! It also handles a bit of the cooling which is why they have an oil cooler.
Oil pressure for an 88 should be 64-78psi @ 3000rpm when warm according to the FSM. 87 should be about the same.

But the question is how do you read 60 psi at 3000 RPM? Is that with a stock gauge, aftermarket gauge, or mech. oil pressure tester?

The stock gauge is poo but if it's always above 60psi on the gauge it's probably OK.
And an aftermarket gauge is just a mechanical oil pressure tester! Unless you get an electrical one of course.
You either replace the oil pressure idiot light sender with the gauge sender or put a T in so you can have both.

If you read the factory service manual where they check out the oil pressure and give you the specs, that they show the mechanic bypassing the factory sending unit and using a mechanical gauge, for accuracy. Says a lot about the electrical unit in the car.

my motor oil POPPED for some reason and it spilled all over my radiator.. but i/ my mechanic cant find where it popped!!! It used to leak only a little bit .. and never popped like this when it was idling.. Now everything seems to be normal, like it NEVER happened before! why is my car acting up?!!! could it be the pressure ? its normal now though.. =\

Huh, popped but it is working fine now. Maybe blew some out of the rebreather line that goes into the top of the oil fill. But a rapid spewing of oil sometimes comes from a burst oil cooler line. You find those on the driver side frame rail. One goes into the front of the engine and the other runs along the frame rail to the back of the engine. Basicly below the oil filter stand
