Red face oil pressure

Here is my story,

I was driving home last week, I have a new engine with only 300km on it and the oil pressure drops so i pull over and check under the hood. Oil filter cap and dip stick are all still there. There is no oil under the car. I then shut the car off to check the oil, it's fine. I then try to start the car and it will not turn over. I try it a few minutes later and she starts right up. What happened????

There's a good chance that the lil wire on the oil pressure sender fell off/got gunky... Take it off, wipe it up, and put it back on..

AS for why it wouldn't start...hm..that's odd.
