oil pan broken bolt

Just like it says, I was checking the bolts on the oil pan for leaks, since I found a nice puddle of oil waiting for me on the floor when I got home and then one of the bolts just snapped right off. Am I going to have to drill it out or can I run it like that or what. This is so ******* stupid I'm about to throw a wrench in the ******* woods.

go out and buy yourself a couple left hand drill bits. The thread is reversed on them, meaning they drill while turning counter clockwise. Make sure they are slightly smaller than the bolt, and hopefully once you start drilling, they will start to catch. With any luck, the broken bolt will just screw out. These little babies have saved me a ton of fusteration. Due to where the bolt is, it shouldn't be rusted or seized in there too bad, so this should work. If not, drill the bolt out (make sure you don't drill too deep, tape the drill bit to show you the dept of a bolt you already removed) and re-tap it. Good luck
