OIL in my coolant?!?!?!?!

my resevoir tank has OIL and water in it...WTF?!?!?

I had this happen to me when I didn't change the coolant enough. Anti-freeze has oil in it that breaks down and separates. Flush the system and replace with 50/50 mixture and you should be ok. I wouldn't be worried unless the overflow tank is overflowing and your buzzer is going off.

it looks like motor oil. straight BROWN SMELLY OIL. oh and my car smokes from behind the intake manifold when i run it for mor then 5-10 minutes.

Sounds like the equivilent of a cracked head. Maybe one of your coolant or oil pockets isn't quite right? NEW HOUSINGS!
