oil leak..but where?

Sadly my 7 is leaking oil.It is a 87 TII with 150k but the previous owner said it had been rebuilt a while ago.Its not that bad but I still had an oil dye test done to it to try to find out where it was. They said they couldn't pinpoint it but they belive it is coming leaky seal on the back rotor housing. Is this common? How bad is this gonna hurt the car if I choose to keep driving it?Right now it isn't leaking very much at all.Only choice to rebuild it?Any info can help thanks

Kevin

best bet is to get under your car and start wiping down everything with a clean rag and degreaser and wait a couple of days to see where is it coming from now

I will probably do that, but what if it is the seal on the back rotor. How much longer do you think it has to live.Even though it doesnt leak much im still scared about runing the internals due to some crazy problem.
