oil leak...

I have an oil leak that gets back to about the middle of my exhaust. I have no idea what it could be coming from. Someone told it be coming from the oil metering pump. I was thinking that the gasket was leaking. What do you guys think?

Just track down the leak... there should be a fresh line of oil to where you noticed the oil.

when i first bought the car it was leaking a little oil, but i didnt have any time to check it out. well i ended up blowing an oil cooling line. so ended up just replacing the inlet and return line to the oil cooler. nothing is coming out of the exhaust its just coming off of it. i think ill try and wash the motor(to get all the old oil off), let it dry, and then drive again and try and figure out if it is coming from the omp or not.

Look carefully at the back side of the oil pan- if it was just rebuilt, the pan might not have been sealed correctly...
