you guys are going ot have to use your imagination on this one.....picture a speaker cover.....then picture the black....then picture the grey.....breathe.....in......out.....say the alphabet backwards...........think of a happy place........a nice place......where only rotary engines exist and the only pistons around are the ones owning the lakers.....and imagine a carbon fiber surround........hear the waves.....feel the waves....

i dont know whats a good price? All i have to do is take the ones i have and make a mold, sand the mold down to get those wavy fake leather looking things out and get it smooth and pop a couple out. There wont be any mesh so your gonna have to work that out on your own. I say 59 sounds like a good price.

Yes the speaker covers would be nice since mine were destroyed. Will that include the speaker grill also or would we have to reuse our own?

carbon fiber is nice, but I wouldn't spend the money on CF speaker surrounds unless I was trying to pimp my ride and make it "for show only". My car is a project that I want to use for auto cross and the local race track, so I look for more practical items.

Here's an idea. CF stereo surrounds (I know FC3s already makes them), CF shifter boot surrounds would accent nicely. CF idiot light surrounds (mine are all broke/missing!) Just start replacing all the commonly broken **** with CF.

what rat and the meister said - any friggn thing that breaks. The surround FC3S.org made was off of the S4 - how about the S5 with matching gear surround.

yeah, thats a good idea. These cars are old, so it could be a practical, stylish means of replacing all the broke stuff.

i have an idea!! Ill make the carpet out of Cf!!! i am really liking the CF antenna!! looooool. But seriously I already have a cf surround for the shifter boot but it is pointless until i have the stereo surround and that is a pain in the *** for me right now, ill have to do that when i get to NC in august. Right now I am just biding my time until I move to NC then i will get started on the kit in my avatar. The speaker surround thing is an idea in my head cuz i went to the junkyard and pulled a set to replace my broken ones and figured hey what the heck. I have a mold of an s5 stereo surround bu tht problem is that you have to have the vents to fit it right because they s5 and s4 vents arent the same but you can use some African Engineering and get it the way you want. As far as the vents go it is impossible for me to do because I dont have a vacuum bagging system. Right now I am looking at making a carbon fiber windsheild so let me know what you think guys as far as visibility goes. I am wiling to sacrifice some visibility for the weight savings so let me know what you think. ...oh btw I am working on that dash cover thing again...ill post in that thread tho

ha loool. Everything I do is a prototype loool. I make a hood, I like it but then I get a better idea. Im thinking of making the RE style hood like i have been saying I will and I owe Blew Tea Too a hood and maybe he will be willing to be the first recipient of such a product and then when i am happy i will make a mold and sell them. My wayyyy first hood back in the day wasnt perfect so i decided to start from scratch. I made a new design and had a perfect protoype and in the process of making the mold i screwed the mold up and the prototype so now I start from scratch again. I am now reattempting the dash cover and as far as my body kit goes i was waiting on a body kit to cut up to make into my kit, but now I will be doing it from scracth and I would do it now, BUT i decided to move so I will wait until I finish the move to NC and get back from my three week trip to morocco.
