Oil Injector Help!

Ok I'm almost done puling my first 13bt motor and surprise the oil injectors are kicking my ***. Now I don't want to break them, god knows how much more I need to spend on this project.

I can get on the two on the LIM with a 14mm wrench but they will not budge. Now I have heard to use vice grips. Should I use them on the round part close to the top or try to get some needle nose type vise grips and see if I can get at them where the wrench fits?

I need these things off........

Unless the bases are already rounded, a wrench on the base of the injectors would be much more effective than vice grips on the top, or needle nose vice grips on the hex. Maybe you need to soak them overnight with penetrant.

Also, if you pull on the wrench in the normal fashion, and simultaneously tap the wrench with a hammer, the combination of forces and vibrations might break them loose.

Edit: I forgot to say that when people recommend vice grips, it's generally to get around most peoples' problem of not having a wrench thin enough to fit onto the base of the injector.

Well I can get to the injectors on the LIM with a regular wrench, but I guess I'll have to try the penetrant and then hit them with vice grips. I tried the hammer and some other ways to get them off......it feels like they are solid.
