Question oil filter relocation kit

Does anyone make a oil filter relocation kit? If not I'm looking into making them. Is there a market for them. Who's interested, and how much is it worth to you?

There are several generic kits that fit a Mazda, but the real point is why would you need one?

Its not like the oil filter is hard to reach on a SA/FB or a FC. Probably the simplest of any car I know.

Im almost positive mazdatrix makes them along with a dual setup. I gotta check though. The dual setup would be worth it to me.

That's one of my reasons for wanting one, Plus I don't like a dry oil filter when I change my oil. I like to fill it up when I change the oil. And i'm doing a front mount and it will be easier to move it than take my IC pie off to change the oil.

Where do you feel the ideal location would be on an FC?

Only does that if you don't know how to pop the filter before removing it.

Get a screwdriver poke a small hole in the top (just enough to vent it) and let it sit for 15 minutes before unscrewing it.

It will be empty and not dump oil everywhere then when you unscrew it.

Actually it'll be easier and cheaper to get a proper TB connector instead of reusing the stock one. Not only will the oil filter be easily accessed without removing anything, but you'll remove a substantial flow restriction.

I've never had that problem, and I am not doing anything special like poking a hole to the filter. IMHO, it is definetly the easiet location I've ever seen

Yeah whenever I change the oil on mine I always poke a hole in it, and I honestly have never had any oil go pouring down the side of the engine.
