Oil Cooler Lines Burst

I just bought new oil cooer lines, because mines were laking like mothers, so then some guy at the autoparts said i might be running too thick an oil, im running 20W50. is that too much for my 86 na with 113k on it, (soon to be tubo) please reply soon.

20W50 is recommended for the FC being used in Temps between 20F and 140F.

The factory oil cooler lines (as most of the underhood rubber) typically need replacing every 10 years.
