Oil cooler lines

I had a leaky oil cooler line on my 87t2. I replaced it with a push lock (no clamp) hose and proper fittings from a hydraulic shop much cheaper. I took the car for a scream on a nice day. And the hose blew off, what a mess. Thank god for the level warning. I just put hose clamps on it, the hose is high pressure high heat. Should this be enough to do the trick???

THANKS.

I wouldn't count on a clamp with that pressure. Sometimes cheaper is not better. How much is a rebuild?

gottttttttttttttttdamn those oil cooling lines!!!!!!!!!!! mines is leaking..... the one on the driver side!!!!! i feel like gettin the 12a oil filter oil cooler thingy!!!! i hear they are expensive as hell and its better to have them made custom... but i would never trust just any clamps... to tighten them... gotttttta use fittings and they have to be from that high temp material..

I put nice brass fitting in the block and cooler the hose a hydraulic 250 psi. How much pressure is in there anyway?
