seires 5 are heavier, but they have more hp, they have automatic seatbelts (GAY) well at least here they do, i know they dont in some other places
They have 10% more horsepower
But lbs per horsepower the S4 have a slightly better ratio.
The looks of S5 are better, so are the plastic pieces on the inside, and the turbo and whatnot.
S5 are better, but heavier, rarer, and more expensive. Just get the best you can. You can always get the mirrors and sidestrips painted

There are no major differences, just dozens of small changes that add up to a much better car. Finding one is worth the wait and $$$. Keep hunting, they are out there!
Tip: use the Trade & Exchange website, that way you can see what's for sale all over NZ.

...I've also heard that the s4 had a few more electrical gremlins than the s5. My s4 had quite a few problems, but I switched almost the entire car to s5 and guess what?...no more problems. Plus the turbine's are WAY better on the s5...errr...I mean manifold, not turbine

get the S5's...their engines come with an increased compression ratio and lighter rotors.
