oil cooler line replacement
oil cooler line replacement
well my 87 turbo II started to lose almost a quart of oil a week and i've noticed that the oil cooler lines are leaking a little. i'll need to replace them soon but i was wondering what is all involved in the replacement. the step by step if you will. any hints and tips are welcome. also which oil lines do you guys recomend? rb, mazdatrix or cork sports? or does it really matter?
thank you in advance

If you have a hydraulic shop near by that you can drive to, take it there and have them press on new ss lines or other high pressure lines using stock fittings or if yours are bad, new fittings. You'll be amazed what those hydraulic guys can do . If you have spare ones then ok but if not, try that route.
By the way, it's MUCH cheaper than ordering new lines through a speed shop.

You're going to re-use the fitting and not the hose/line so it doesn't matter what condition the hose is.
After they install the new high pressure hose, they always pressure check them before they give them back to you.
