Oil cooler angle??

searched but could not find any good info;
So my oil cooler lines sprung a leak. then i noticed i routed them wrong revered inlet and outlet. anyways while looking at the service manual i noticed it says installation angle? i have this in my first gen with a TII setup. I cant remember if the oil cooler was from a TII or a first gen... in any cause first gen FSM never say anything about angles but 91 TII says it. any one know if this matters at all?

The way that I am interpreting the Diagram,it is not the Angle of the Cooler.
It is the angle of the HOSE that attaches to the cooler.
The cooler is actually on Bracket/rubber mountss and bolts to the frame and there is no way to 'fugg it up"..it either goes on in place,or it doesn't.

You can place the oil cooler in any orientation you want, and the inlet vs. outlet doesn't matter either really.

The angle for the hose is for chaffing reasons. At that angle it misses most of the things that can cause a chaffing problem with the hose.
