Oil consumption (or the lack there of)
Is there something wrong if my engine consumes virtuall NO oil. I read in the FAQ that it is normal for it to use about a quart every 3000 mi. Now i did an oil change about 3000 kms ago (so that's like 1800 mi) and the level hasn't left the FULL line.
Is my car just working really good and there is nothing to be worried about, or is there something wrong?

Check your metering oil pump. If everything checks out fine on that, you're probably fine. The metering oil pump sprays oil on the rotors to cool and lubricate them, and that oil gets burned up; this is where all the oil usage that RX7s are famous for comes from.
Incidentally, my 88 GTU doesn't start noticably using oil until about 2000-2500mi.

If oil consumption is zero then there is a problem. Make sure the linkage between the TB and OMP is connected and working properly.
The OPM doesn't squirt oil and it isn't for cooling. There are oil squirters in the e-shaft for internal rotor cooling but they're completely different.

They're not Squirters, but Jets. Jets that are almost as powerfult as a F110-GE-132 engine.
Oil diagram attached. See where I have a Red arrow?? Disconnect any of the four lines in that area. Then, with a fully hot engine, hold a speed of approx 2000 rpm for five minutes and collect the oil droppings coming out of that disconnected port on the OMP. The volume should meet the requirements of the Free, online FSM. See the OIL section of the Free online FSM.
