oil change?

ok i just cleaned out my oil pan and the car has 150,000 miles on it. im not sure if my car will still leak oil because i unno where its coming from, but what kinda oil should i put in and what viscosity?

i use 20-50 with Lucus oil thickener.. or synthetic is good too...redline is a good oil..but its like 7-8 bucks a quart... I used 10-30 w oil before.. but at high rpm i get oil burn because my oil rings are going bad.. 20-50 seems to work for me better..

I agree with adam, 20w50 is the best weight for our engines, as far as synthetic
goes, if you have a oil leak it will leak faster iwth the synthetics. You need to
clean your engine off with degreaser and then track down that oil leak and fix it.
Common problems are oil cooler hoses, oil pressure sender, dowel pin area at back of block. rx7doctor

yea its mostly likely the oil cooler lines. Mine were the heart of my oil leak. I just recieved my new an style ones from mazdatrix.com. a couple days ago, Now all i have to do is install them

what levels of oil should it be on the oil gauge?? it says that my oil is under half way.....

Half way between low and full? That's ok, but just add some till it reads full to play it safe.
