coupe door replace vert door?

coupe door replace vert door?
Can you make a 88 vert door by cutting a 86 coupe door? Can you just cut out the top and back of the window frame, then swap all the vert door parts onto the cut door?

It cant be that hard to find a vert door.
And i think the vert door is longer
