I got this one from someone who makes them local, not a huge monster which is all you need unless you have alot of blowby and you track the car really hard.

I have since powdercoated it anthrocite to match other engine components

Just make sure you don't go over $20 because thats what a nice one costs on Ebay.

The last time I checked Ebay the only cheap catch cans were made like crap and didn't have a vent. I prefer the vented aluminum type as shown in Rob XX 7's post, and those were in the $50-150 range.

My fabricator and I both have good salaries, so it was more cost-effective to just buy one in my case. For those of you who don't make a lot of money and have good aluminum welding and tapping skills, it would probably make more sense to build one yourself.

I think he charged me like $30-$40, then another $20 for the coating, I bought the filter at a local store. I specified the size I had wanted it and the mounting method.
Its also baffled and has a petcock drain at the bottom. I did not like any others I had seen because they were too large for my use, did not need a sump I needed a can, lol.

Why do that when you can just cap the lower nipple on the intermediate housing and just run one line from the oil filler neck?

I use a clear plastic soda bottle. Ran fuel line off the top of my oil filler neck into the bottle. Zip tied the bottle to some stuff. Its functional...

The purpose is to vent/relieve crankcase pressures so yes, you can cap the bottom nipple. Just need to have a hose from one nipple going to the catch can.
