Oil additives in the FC?

At my shop we have this stuff called Fifty Plus. Its supposed to be added to your oil when you have over 50000 miles. It says it keeps your seals lasting longer and extends engine life. I can get it for free, but I was wondering, what are your ideas on this?

well you have to think. most every thing on the market today for high millage engines.(ie:max life) are for piston engines. whitch have more and diffrent seals in them. i would say if it doesnt spesify for rotarys i wouldnt use it. youd be just as well off running 2 stroke in the gas. to help reduce wear. thats the way i think about it any way.

IMO, Additional oil additives (over what comes in a good quality oil) is just a waste of your money, and probably hurting a rotary more than helping.

MMO is included in that.

All oil/fuel addatives are crap. If the addative is so good, why isn't it included with the oil/fuel?

I hope thats 400k Because 40k isn't anything to be boasting about IMO. But I will be using MMO every once in a while to keep the internals preserved.
