id go with castrol gtx 20w-50, when it gets colder (say 60 and below consistantly) Maybe swap to 10w-40.

no need to run synthetic, or any "high milage" stuff

It all depends on the mileage. Mine has 150 thou, so I use peanut oil. Most less mileage engines like mazzola, you know youngsters, buttery flavor.

ENGINE OIL-----------------------------------AND LOTS OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND CHANGE A LOT------------------AND RECYCLE----------------------PEACE RUF RUF RUF RUF RUF

I think that the problem is that you don't bother to read the stickies and archives, and refuse to search. This problem has been covered ad-nasuem. Do a search for "3800 hesitation," and you'll get so much information your head will explode.

Short answer, 20 year old grounds.

Good luck, and welcome to the club,

James
