i was told that puttin 2 stroke oil in the gas would help out with lubing the seals and buliding compression i was wondering if its true and if its good to do.

I have been adding 4 oz of Marvel Mystery Oil to every tank of gas. I can't remember where I got the idea, but do remember,at the time, thinking it was a good idea. I don't know how well it works as my 89 NA only has 56k original miles.
I will let you know in 50 years.

 

Marval Mystery oil is probably the worst thing that can be used. It's just some solvents and wax:
