ohhhh snap

Well i drove my seven today to the stores and back home ran great. Oil pressure looked good. When i got home ready to leave again it cranked for 2 seconds then locked up. Full oil level and motor had 130,000 miles original. What the hell? Has the oil pump been known to fail like that.

yeah 1/2 breaker bar and a pipe nothing at all man, tried rocking it in gear ,everything. It just made the weirdest noise as soon it stopped cranking i dont get it. No oil leaks, nothing . This really sucks. I can rebuild it myself no problem, but im just stunned at how it locked up.

Something to findout when breakin it open then. Or at least try some MMO in the plug holes overnight and then turning by a 1/2 inch ratchet.

I have heard good things about Marvel Mystery Oil. Possibly a good idea...

Either a chunk of carbon fell out of something and jammed your rotor, which is less likely... Or what more likely happened is you rolled an apex seal and it jammed in a port against the housing. It happened to me. You CAN break it free. Get someone to push you pretty fast backwards, in first gear, and then dump the clutch. It'll free it up, but it'll be destructive...but who cares? You're already screwed. It'll run, but the damage will have already been done and it'll finish off that rotor soon.
