Cool Oh god not again!......just help me spend my money in the right place

Alright ladies, i think i finaly have my funds together to fix my dead 87 se

Yes, this is another "n/a T2 swaps" posts, but im just looking for input on finishing up my game plan, dont want to buy the wrong thing =]

Alright, the car is an 87 se, motors got bad water seals,
its got a brand new radiator, waterpump, alternator, can i use any of this on an s5 t2?

I plan on swapping the entire drivetrain back to the halfshafts, do i have to do a 5lug conversion? i plan on doing a major brake upgrade down the road, so if i dont have to do it twice, id rather know now

also from what ive been reading i noticed a post pertaining to a check valve on the break booster, can someone give me some insite into this?

this is the list of stuff i THINK i need for the swap, please add or remove from it as necessary, and tell me why=]

-Wiring Harneses, indash and engine (thers 3 all together right?)
-ECU
-S5 T2 Gauge cluster (or should i just leave mine in, and get an aftermarket boost gauge?)
-checkvalve for the breakbooster(?)
-The Engine!
Everything behind the Engine!
-Flywheel
-clutch (all the clutch parts)
-Transmission
-Drive shaft
-Diff
-halfshafts
-Exhaust (dp, mp, and all the rest)
-AFM and all air boxy thing unless im gona do intake right off
-Boost sensor (whate ever u call it, that thing next to shock tower)
-Knock sensor
-must decide between getting t2 hood, or going fmic (id like the fmic)

so is that all i NEED to do this? am i missing something, am i doing something the hard way what?, ok now onto the second part

The amount of funds that i have to spend is uhhh undeterminted, i might get sponsered, there might be a bonus, who knows, but i more or lesss have what i think is a wish list for the car if i can spend alot of money
i want to maintain driveablity with this car, it will see rain and might have to see light snow, but i hope to beable to park it for the winter

---------------- Wish List -----------------------

-Engine - Heavy SP S5 TII 2mm seals (pinnaple racing probably)
--Intercooler - Greddy V-SPL FMIC? What, does someone have a recommendation? id like to have most of my bumper
--Turbo - Something that spool's fast, 300-400 hp range (more some other day)
--ECU- - Haltech E6k!
--Injectors - Recommendations, i really have no idea
--Radiator - Fluidlyne (unless i can use my current radiator, ill get the name when i go home)
--Fan - Black Magic Electric for electric? good, bad? what
--Coolent - Evens NPG
--Fuel pump - Recommendations, must keep the 7 feed
--Bov - Uhhh what should i get
--Wastegate - Tial (40 or 50 mm?) i read the larger the better but i want to ask ne ways
--Intake - Least restrictive filter
-Flywheel - racing beat? something light?
-Clutch - What u guys reccoment, i want something grippy but still driveable, or is this a case of prefrence?
-Transmission - The stock s5 t2 tranny unless i get Lots of money.. then Guru Dogbox 5speed - Street Drag
-Diff - Uhh, stock S5 T2?
-Suspension - TEIN something, again recommendations, and do i need pillow mounts?, or should i wait and drive it a while, then choose
-Exhaust - Corksport 3"DP&MP/RB 3" the rst of the way
-Additional Gauges - EGT/AF/Air temp b4 and after intercooler / oil temp
-Wheels - 16 - 17 spoked soemthings, i hate my telephone wheels
-Tires - Recommendations, looking for decent tire life, will see rain, maby slight snow
-Misc things - ??

yes, i priced out some of this and got scared also, but who knows, is this a good idea, am i very very wrong on my choices?

oh yeah, should i get some sort of air damn to house my fmic? or if i cut out the grill and sand it smooth will it get enough air?

and last onto paint, i want to get a pretty expensive color, its looking to be 200+ a pint (owwie), should i assemble the car, then paint it, or paint the car, then assemble it? im going to do the engine bay a solid color, probly black and then the rest of the car Chamelion Blasbarrie (spelling?)

well thats my post, its so long i typed it in notepad and saved it when i got bored

thx for ur help u guys, if i can do this, this car might see a seven stock =]

-Jacob

i dunno..i feel sorry for a poor TII engine if you've gone through (at least the post title says) 2 engines minimum.

Fuel pump: walbro 255lph or walbro 175lph (is it 175? all i know is there is one that flows less)
BOV: Tein is loudest, I personally like APEX dual chamber
tires: My favorite are pirelli p7000 supersports
Injectors: I'd have 720CC primaries and bosch 1600CC secondaries if your lookin at 400hp just to be safe. You'd need a custom fuel rail though
FMIC or SMIC: Well its up to you...TII hoods can cost anywhere from 200 - 450 depending on how greedy the owner is FMIC on KD rotary is around 600 installed, but will cool tons better.

If your buying a long block TII engine, it will come with a clutch and flywheel bolted on already (enless its auto..shame on those auto japanese FC's) You'll also need the starter and clutch slave for the tranny.

i havent gone though ne engines, just the stock one

walbor huh, im not good on fuel pumps, so wich would be better, the high or low one, could i calculate this from how many lb/hr the injectors use? if not how do i determin the pumps flow

dual chamber? is there a gain to haveing 2 chambers?, i want loud (ohhh scary) but i dont want that screach, just a good woosh

i thought i read a large difference from primaries and secondairs cause causes something simlar to hesitation because of the sudden "rush" of fuel, or am i wrong

as for the fmic, 600 installed, hmm i guess ill have to look for better prices.. i was looking at cores that were more than that

oh and it will Deffinetly be a 5speed, i wont by ne thing less =]

well, the walbro 255lph is what your looking for if your gonna be pushin higher hp.

The dual chamber has a very loud 'PSHHH' sound. I personally heard one on a ported TII, and it was delicious .

i dont know jack about injector size compairisons all i know is that if you can supply more fuel than you need, than you should be fine (and have a fuel controller)

Sorry..i mean installed w/out a core (piping + brackets + installation) Cores can range a lot. I think BOOSTD7 has 2 or 3 stock intercoolers welded together as his.
Someone who has a High power FC chime in on this one.

YOu cant buy a TII tranny in automatic..so your safe

what about a turbo, a ballbaring turbo spools up fast, but its lifespan is shorter from my understanding

is that the only downside to a bb turbo, how short is there life?

Nothing else? No clutch or turbo recomendations?
