Official FC Vented Hood Thread

Yo,

Yeah, I'm /making/ it official. Post all pics of known vented hoods here.

I found these at the www.rxecret7.com site:

Knight Sports RX-7 Aero Hood

PAN Speed Light Weight Vented Hood 86-91 RX-7

SEXY STYLE Aero Hood Ver. 2

Note: Side vents optional

SEXY STYLE Aero Hood Ver. 1

Post up any more, I know RE makes that louvered one.

I like the one made by Dlezetan (sorry for butchering your nick!).
I caught some of the pics of his work, and they were pretty damn nice looking for the price!

Yes it's a carb, and yes it's a V8. But the hole is in the same place as most of those other vented hoods. And is bigger than some of them. It may not have the hole cut in it specifically for venting engine heat, but it will, so it's still a "vented hood"

Just my input

why not just do what some eclipse owner down here did?? This is no ****--I was around Houma, LA a week or two ago, and I saw an early 90s eclipse, painted BRIGHT ORANGE, with the aluminum wing and cut-out vents screened with black chicken wire. The hood was supposed to be like the one off the orange Supra in TFATF...LMMFAO It was about as gay as I have ever seen
