It's great for ANY set up, even NA. This is THE BEST way to lower engine bay temps and combat heat soak.

I first I didn't see the detail in the airbrushing and it didn't look like anything in particular. Then I noticed the the Jellyfish and what appears to be a manta ray! Pretty cool! Are you a marine biologist?

What was wrong with the Dltreezan hood?

Carl's hood

Funkspectrum is right, Carl has the atihun hood as seen from this pic during install:

He enlarged the openings before he painted the hood though.

The atihun hood was made by matching the original FD mazdaspeed hood vent to a FC hood. The cool part about that was the mazdaspeed hoods were wind tunnel tested by mazdaspeed to create low pressure behind the vent to cool the engine bay. Most (if not all) aftermarket aero parts can't afford wind tunnel testing as it would make their parts too costly.

I want that hood. If I cant find that hood I'm going to a boneyard to find some ricers evo hood and cut the vent out of that and start from there.

Personally I like the Panspeed and Sexy Style hoods. Nice big vents far forward for good flow (the further back the vent the less flow basically). The Panspeed one is similiar to the hoods on the Le Mans Corvettes, and there's definetely some wind tunnel time on those cars.

Both the Panspeed and D-max are available through RHD Japans site, but they are pricey!

https://www.rhdjapan.com/category-lo...-RX-7/Exterior

Vis has a copy of the D-max hood in CF for cheap (~$500).
