You didn't search good enough, then. There are several threads I've read on this very subject in just the last 6 months alone. Not for OEM sets, perhaps, but aftermarket sets that fit. Try again

Find out how much they are from Mazda... and I'll bet for less than half you can just go buy some nice carpeting from somewhere and get the job done yourself for less than half the $$

I heard Victoria British carpets aren't that great. I would just goto a re-upholster shop. You can pick out your carpet (even as good as OEM or better) and they'll do the cutting and edging for you. It probably won't be cheap but judging by how much OEM parts cost from Mazda, its probably cheaper.

Well the upolster shop is good probly cheeper but I doubt cheeper then like a JC witney set. The ? is what about all the plstic that holds the carpet up and the twist **** you need to replace all of these by now 16yrs or so I know I need them replaced.

but mazda contracted out the carpet moulding, problem is though who made them and do they still make them. i'm sure it would be a fair amount cheaper to buy direct than from mazda but i could be wrong.

Yeah, they were made by a supplier in Japan. Not North America

All the other non-OEM carpets aren't as nice as the Mazda OEM ones IMO. The OEM has padding on the back and fits the contours beautifully. I have some victoria british black carpet made for our cars that had no padding and took some maneuvering to get it to fit at all, and it doesn't even fit that great.

I had a hard time understanding that one as well. If you want OEM you merely need to go to a dealer and ask. Unless there is some warehouse full of OE products that does not belong to Mazda. Seems a little covert.

Yeah, I mean companies like Mazdasurplus that buy parts inventories of dealers gone out of biz might be the other choice...

But OEM means Mazda

Yes, but they buy their parts from a Mazda dealer or Mazda distributing (just like Mazdaformance does), so they are technically a Mazda Parts dealer.
