Hi,

I just got my car out of winter storage about two weeks ago. I replaced the transmission and tried to have the car inspected. They said my wheel bearings were bad and failed it. I never heard any noise from them and no strange vibrations or anything that I could hear. None the less, I examined them and found the front left wheel bearing slightly loose. I adjusted both front bearings according to the FSM and everything seemed to be fine. At the same time I found out that both my front calipers (4-pot) had two pistons each seized.

In the mean time I haven't been drivng the car much. Today I replaced the calipers/pads, but didn't turn the rotors as they looked reasonable and we all know the pains of removing them from the hub. I checked the wheel bearings again and the play seemed fine to me. After I was done changing the calipers I took it for a test drive and noticed a clicking noise that sounds like it's coming fromt the front drivers side. It starts at very low speeds and continues to roughly 45 mph where it most likely is just drowned out by road noise. I'm pretty sure it doesn't change in turns though the roads I was testing on (to my annoyance) were very rough and the road noise tried to do it's best to drown out the noise. If anything I beleive it dissapeared slightly during right hand cornering, but it was hard to tell.

The noise definately dissapears under breaking. It's like a switch off. This leads me to beleive it may be brake related. Possibly pads vibrating or something. If anyone has any ideas I'd appretiate it. I'll hopefully be able to take a look at it again in the next couple days again.
