or you could take that $$ and purchase a mod chip on ebay that'll give 500hp and takes less than 5 min to install

Go easy on him he's from peru and he obviously is a noob. To get it to throw flames a bigger straight piped exhaust is necessary and you could tune your car a little rich but knocking out your cats if possible is always a good thing to do.

For NA octane booster or higher octain has been proven to produce less hp! Do a search for 87octainer's and read that thread.

Also i could be wrong but back when mazda raced in rallies and stuff i hear that they actually ran 83 octain or something simular in there NA cars.

I soldered 3 of these together and the 1500 hp blew my engine, tranny, driveshaft, rear end, half shafts and wheels up. But on the plus side I also got 200 mpg on the first tank.

Along with less hp, doesn't it even add more carbon?

for a conventional piston engine, octane boosters are good.. I had a eurospec 190e 16valve that was gray market *had the high compression 187hp 4banger cosworth motor*.. i made the mistake of putting regular 87 octane and the car was hesitating, i had to dump some octane boosters to get it acceptible and to fill up on 91 after that.

Everything you ever learned about pistion engines, does not apply to the rotary. Rotary engines defie the laws of physics. The rocket scientists at Mazda developed that chit to run on typical low octane fuel. lol

I was reading something in a magazine where they compared the hp before and after the dyno runs and the car lost 2 hp with the booster. I think it was an Integra GSR. Anyways, in another magazine they did an interview with some scientist and he showed some documents regarding tests they did and the octane booster only made the gas go up 0.1 octane.

I can find the articles if anyone cares.
