O2 sensor harness location

Hello,

I tried doing a search for this but with no result. I have a 1987 RX7 NA that I am restoring to sell and when I got the car, it had no o2 sensor or throttle cable. I went to the parts store and got an o2 sensor(single wire OEM type) and installed it, but I can't find where it plugs in at.

I have searched everywhere but to no avail. I couldn't even find where it plugs in at on my T2. Also, does anyone know where I can get a throttle cable for my NA car? I have tried local parts places around here and all they have is some old *** part numbers that aren't any good anymore.

Thanks everyone!

-Vincent

It plugs in on the back of the throttle body. Its like in the middle of the back of it, where the throttle cable is. Its a tight squeeze, but it should be there. I had to replace mine. If you can wait till I get home from school (in about 4 hours) I can take a picture of where it is for you.

I think the connector hangs kinda off the back of the engine on the pass side. It is a yellowish connector on a black wire. I can't get anymore specific than that sinc eI have heavily modified my harness.

Hope these help. Mine does not have a huge cord to pull it out anymore. So I took a couple of different pics to give you an idea.

Good luck!

The connector on the engine side is a tan color, rectaingular looking. Look at the back of the engine, between the fuel line and intake manifold on the passenger side. IT should be ziptied to the fuel line unless someone has been messing around in there.

On turbo cars, it comes off of a "branch" with the BAC valve plug.
