what size is the nut on the axles that keeps it in the hub? trying to find a socket that will fit

 

32mm if memory is correct

every one i know says its not 32mm so now i'm worryed what do i buy..i'm talking about the nut on the axle in the hub.

 

buy it and if it doesn't fit take it back...

 

32mm = 1.25" So if you have a 1.25" socket you could try it. They are more common than the metric sockets and just lucky that it is the same size.

Either 1 1/4" or 32mm will work. I have used both sizes.

 

everyone you know doesnt have any idea what they are talking about then.

 

thats what i said. my dad swears up and down its not a 32 and its a 24 but he has never been right so i dont know what i was thinking

 

Has you DAD worked on an RX7 Recently?
Has he had to go out and Actually Buy the Socket?,
..has MR STYX had to go out and Buy the Socket for the Nut on the Half Shafts(axles)?..YES!..it is 32mm!
Tell your Dad he is Wrong..again!(Jokingly!)..sorry Dad.
another odd size socket you may want to pick up too, is the 54 mm,or 2-1/8" socket.For the flywheel nut.
