The top edge of that port needs to have a more rounded edge. Did you enlarge the runner at all? At the very least stick the bit in a drill for a slower speed and clean up all the casting flash. I really hope that is going to be a race engine because that is some duration you have there. lol.

I agree with that porting being horrible but the effects would not have been half as bad had he rounded the edges to protect the sideseals. Thats what ultimately did that motor in. Just think... if its already spewing oil then you don't really need an OPM! Hahaha.

I would hope this is going to show up in some form in the Bad Guy Good Guy section. Or they could make a new section: Don't Send Your Engine To:....

I doubt that this guy is doing any builds for anyone. It looks like he just wanted to give it a try on his own motor... and failed.

Yeah, thats what it seems like to me. Also, how can you tell if the runners were ported? On mine they are pretty much even with the intake manifold. Are they like that stock, or not?

the saddest part of all isnt the crappy porting but the fact the guy built this motor, drove it for 500 miles and then pulled it out and sold it as probably "a high horsepower big port motor with fresh rebuild" and totally screwed the kid over. what a dipshit asshat
